Privacy policy

SushiDex does not require an account and does not provide forms for names, addresses or payment details. If you submit a report through GitHub, that service processes the information under your GitHub account and policies.

Images selected in the menu scanner are processed in your browser. SushiDex does not upload or store the selected image on its own servers.

The scanner loads OCR software and language resources when needed. Detected text and matches remain in the current browser session unless you choose to navigate away or reset the scanner.

SushiDex requests access to your device location only after you select Use my location. You can decline the browser permission and continue by entering a city instead.

The coordinates are used in the browser to request nearby sushi restaurant results from Google Maps Platform. SushiDex does not save the coordinates, associate them with an account or send them to its own server.

Like most hosted websites, the hosting and security infrastructure may process request data such as IP address, browser type, requested URL, timestamp and security signals to deliver the site, prevent abuse and diagnose failures.

SushiDex is deployed through Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare's handling of network and security data is governed by its own privacy documentation.

SushiDex can load Google AdSense services when they are enabled. Google may process device, request and consent information and may use cookies or similar technologies according to the choices available to the visitor and Google's own policies.

Advertising integration does not give SushiDex access to your Google account or payment information.

You can control cookies through the consent options presented on the site when available and through your browser settings. Blocking optional storage may affect advertising but should not prevent access to the public catalogue.

External links, including GitHub, Google and Cloudflare resources, are governed by the policies of those services after you leave SushiDex.
